Community Investments

United Way's Community Investments staff is responsible for a variety of functions within the organization, including our internal programs, public policy issues, and the administration of the Emergency Food and Shelter and Energy Neighbor Fund programs. A very critical aspect of the department is its collaboration with community volunteers to carry out the annual fund distribution process each spring. Public Policy Advocacy

The United Way Public Policy Committee, comprised of representatives and advocates of our health and human services community, has written issue statements that relate to key policy areas in the upcoming legislative session. These statements are supported by a number of organizations in our community and have been approved by the United Way Board of Directors.
